Honestly, I am most excited about the wind potential along the coast than I am the highest accumulation possible. It's clear we're going to get a lot of snow. But what will make this storm special are the winds COMBINED with THOSE snowfall rates. I think it'll be more eye-popping to see than the blizzard in Jan of last year.

One thing's for sure. At least we won't have to worry about initial melting due to preceding warm temperatures. The ground is nice and frozen and in perfect condition for sticking.

Quiet ace I said trend because it was multiple models more east. The gfs, cmc, and the nam para and high res were east of of where they were at 6z

Just checked the soundings for my area. Outside of a brief and temporary dip from 925mb to 850mb, the temp column is practically unchanged from the surface all the way to 700mb.
