It's funny. The 0z NAM totals were higher for me at 3k and 4k and now at 6z it's the 12k giving the most snow.

I think when the LP intensifies from of the Delmarva to off the NJ coast, the cold air will be drawn into the center very rapidly. You can see that on many of the models. The only worries I see is eastern LI , possibly into portions of central LI where mixing can ocurr. The cold air mass siting over us is a classic "banana" shape and is not likely to give to warmer air infiltration very easily.

I see NWS has upped my warning from 8-18" to 18"-24". That's a big shift for them in 12 hours.
