LMAO Doc, yeah, Jimmy sure would have blown a gasket on this one.One the good sign, the OTI Sanitarium would have broken all records for attendance.Hmmmmm, if this pattern is a harbinger for winter, I'm gonna have to build a new wing and hire extra staff members,LOL.
By the way, spot on analysis yesterday of this system.I guess it would be categorized a heartbreaker Miller B,LOL.

Today it is 5:50 am and 50 degrees. Yesterday we went to the Giants training camp. Great stuff. My nine year old got an autograph from Odell B. It was a really nice day. Back home in Circleville, a lovely day with a tad bit of wind blowing things around on the deck. Jacket on right now while having coffee on the deck.

Yeah I'm still on here occasionally checking in. I would absolutely have blown a gasket if this was winter but.....being that its summer I'm happy it went South because my rivers and streams upstate have been ON FIRE this summer and I don't need them getting blown out by a deluge. Doc the Esopus is the place to be right now buddy. Catching 30-40 trout per trip on the fly rod the last few weeks up by mom and dad in Ulster County. Nice to know Scott still likes to give me the business. And where is our fearless guido.....I mean leader?
Nice to know Mugs is already talking snow and cold God bless him. I need a cat 3 direct hit in September to get me interested again. Ciao

oofff a cat 3 direct hit dayumm lol, good see ya syo, yeah frank does not appear to have any interest in non snow weather, then again even the non snow weather has been downright boring. Note he has a hurricane potential index at top, im sure if there is a threat he will be on and using that like he does for snowstorms. That is if the tropics ever get going.syosnow94 wrote:sroc4 wrote:docstox12 wrote:sroc4 wrote:skinsfan1177 wrote:Wow not much here only .20 in the bucket 45 miles in AC almost 6 inches

Hey mom. Good to hear from you. Yes and no on the Esopus question. Yes it flows into the Hudson River by Saugherties but that is the slow moving warm murky water that is released from below the Ashokan reservoir. The part I fish is above the reservoir. Cold clear 55-60 degree water that flows through some of the tightest peaks in the Catskills. Beautiful area. Totally different. Enjoy your summer

Re: July Disco/ Observations
Hey JMan how have you been? Well there were Flood watches and warnings in effect so it wasn't unexpected. When I pulled into town Friday evening they had the big army trucks at the firehouse that they use to get through flood waters so they were prepared. It was probably more rain water than surge but we did have a strong onshore flow for 24 hours so there may have been some surge. I guess the definition of weak storm is flexible. We got over 5" of rain and 20-30 mph winds which is in no way weak, but big picture from a large scale storm dynamics perspective I guess it was pretty localized to VA, MD, Del., and South Jersey. Would have made for an aggravating winter storm "miss" for most on this board.
