Jeez. Some of these long range tracks (albeit a shot in the dark at this point) paint a very dire scenario for these parts of they were to come to fruition.

Most of the Euro Ensembles were OTS. I believe Mike (Math) mentioned that a little earlier

what u mean that's well offshore is it continuing nw? Right rb he did mention but I don't think ots is right. That looks like if it is headed nw it would crush midatlsntic to the northeast.skinsfan1177 wrote:JMA huge east coast hit

Re: Tracking Hurricane Irma
Question, we see often that snowstorms will change even significantly even a day before the storm arrives , that is y we throw models away from a week out. Is a hurricane different meteorological speaking? Does a storm a week out have more accuracy to predic then a snow storm?
Re: Tracking Hurricane Irma

Re: Tracking Hurricane Irma
This run would b far worse than Sandy at least in terms of winds. Maybe close to double. Frank I know imby questions but the center in ur image is literally Imby....what are the chances of this. Thetorical question I know it's pretty impossible to know at this time.

These ops are all over the place. I wouldn't be too concerned about anything right now. If they show this 5 days from now then we can worry.

frank even I'm petrified by that image. Look at rain totals well over a foot and winds I imagine would be cat 3 maybe higher. Good this is gonna nibble at me for the next 10 days why lolFrank_Wx wrote:

It could but it's still 10 days or so out. There are many variables at play and each model run could still be quite different from the next. 00z could show something totally different. This is just entertainment right now.
