Jimmy, like some others here have mentioned, I would rather have just all snow or all rain.Slop is on my s__t list for sure.

temps still in low 30's in NNJ, mid 30's still down the shore..going to be a while with the freezing rain here until we get that "warmth"

I can't say I'm disappointed because I never really had my hopes to high for this one. I did think at one point we might get 4-6 inches but the N & W trend this year turned on us the last 36 hours and this is the result. Sometimes it helps sometimes it stabs you in the back.

Orange County Othelia is not looking to good right now, but it's still early in the post groundhog day season.

Definitely on the low side CP, but with the way the snow events have been going this winter, we will take it.The ground is white again and this slop should freeze into a block so it will linger longer.We are halfway to our 50 inch normal snow total.It's a possibility, we do have until mid April up here to make that.

We'll give Othelia a chance, she has many weeks to bring this home,LOL.Maybe we should upgrade her Groundhog Chow???

Prolly got about a little over half inch still frz and rain. What a nasty day. Roads are not bad though.

Wish we could Doc, but remember she tragically died February 2nd the same day she saw her shadow.

Yes it looks nice out with the ice shining and covering the trees still 32 degrees with rain and freezing rain side streets are a sheet of ice here in Mount Vernon. We just missed with this system this would have been a nice 6 Plus in snow storm for the area if the track was just a little further south

33* with rain here. Been raining for about the last two hours. Interestingly doesn't look like it will get as warm as forecast, but just barely warm enough for the changeover.

29.5 a sheet of ice covering the snow and trees which will be washed away this weekend.

What a big difference from Queens to the Bronx and queens they are getting plan rain meanwhile in the Bronx I am getting freezing rain with temperature around 32 degrees

28 and freezing rain. Got 2.5 inches before changing over to sleet and freezing rain about 1pm. Roads are not good and getting icy.

Temp is at 34 everything is ice. Streets seem to be OK. Side walks are a mess

Mild air incoming. Spiked to low 40s at central park and LGA. Jump to 37 here. Plain old rain.

Holding at 33* here. Icy, nice glean on the trees.

I finished with four inches and just a touch of sleet. A little ice on the trees. Heavy stuff to get up off the driveway. About 32 at 5:45 pm. So when is the next one?
