FEB 7th 2018---Front End Thump

Holding at 33* here. Icy, nice glean on the trees.

I finished with four inches and just a touch of sleet. A little ice on the trees. Heavy stuff to get up off the driveway. About 32 at 5:45 pm. So when is the next one?

31.0 here. It's dangerous out there.

38* with steady rain. Radar indicates rain should end here in an hour or so. I did brush the coating of wet slush from my walkway and sidewalk into the lawn and then put down some ice melt to try to avoid a freeze up tonight.

Left for the gym at 4:00 temp 35. Now temp is 48.3 lol

Warm air must be working it way in. It's so foggy right now

it was 33*at 520 to 41*now with heavy rain and foggy conditions :shocked

just bumped up to 34.3° but still icy as hell on side roads, driveways, walkways... after 1.75" of snow, .15" of rain

What a disastrous bust of a forecast by the NWS and local pro Mets. 1-3” snow tops even WELL north. Freezing rain was more of an issue. These models suck this year

1.5" snow, a little sleet, and .76" freezing rain and rain. Such a mess.

2.2 inches of snow topped by lots of freezing rain and as I've stated before I refuse to measure rain because I really don't give a sh!t how much rain we get because in the winter .01 inch of rain or freezing rain is to much.

My apologies to any fans of rain out there like Mikey.

41* and just shy of an inch of rain..we had a quick coating of ice this morning...and then it was rain all day...just a nasty day!!

There will be black ice come morning - how much is hard to tell but Alex most schools up here have called for delayed openings already !!!

NJ is always easy on school closings lol. LI is tough. But I spiked to 48.3 around 6:30 but since it has been slowly falling and am now at 43.3 and still raining. Waiting on the cold front.
