jimv, you are right, November and March favor the Hudson Valley in snow events.
Being inland, I get screwed on most of the big storms

Mikey P, I can't remember in a long time a coastal hugger that hit you and Aresian. They were more frequent many years ago. This one took a 20 to 40 mile east jog at the last minute.

Was Stella a coastal hugger? That was the last big storm I got since around probably the Valentines day storm I think. I am not 100% sure but there may have been a big one in 2010? I can't recall most storms really.

I think the last storm that dropped more than a foot around here was Superstorm '93. Sadly, the geography here seems to act as a major deterrent to significant snowfalls.

Doc how are you. Just got about a half of snow from a snow shower. Luckily its light and fluffy because it's 25* so I used my leaf blower to clean it up. Even the snow we had yesterday wasn't that heavy. Thank God or my wife would be hitting me in the head with a shovel. She's getting very worn from the shoveling process. She really doesn't want it to snow anymore. I can't tell her that I'm rubbing my rabbits foot crossing my fingers and toes and doing what ever else I can to bring this storm Northward. I just say to her yeah I don't want to snow anymore either. I have to play the in the closet Snow Weenie so I don't clobbered with a shovel or frying pan. YIKE'S

Hi, SNOWMAN, I'm doing as well as a 67 year old can be I guess,LOL.Yes, the snow the other day up here was not on the wet, heavy side, shoveling it was not bad, but I only have a 25 or 30 foot walkway in front of the house, a guy plows the very long driveway for me.My wife is no snow lover either and in my family, my Sister and I are the only ones who love snow. She lives in Ocean grove NJ and they only got 3 inches so I took the liberty of rubbing it in by saying I got 26 inches,LOL.You mentioned being clobbered by a shovel or frying pan.Make sure you hide those items plus the obligatory rolling pin,LOL, if this storm hits us.

Either reel in a monster we won't forget or start pring. Looking at temps in LR though doesn't look very spring like through end march me not like that.

Well historically March isn't suppose to be warm, so let it snow.
