Ripping heavy snow now.Winds picking up a bit.

35* light to almost moderate snow here. Judging by radar I am about to go through a 30 minute or so dry spot then should be into moderate to heavy snow and the temp should drop a couple degrees by 11:15/11:30.

Abit over 3 inches in Rockaway, the heaviest snow the last 15 mins

As i lived this last storm Doc you are in a good spot being higher up. It can snow all day like last storm unless its really ripping and temps near 32 in the day time it will have a hard time sticking. I got most of my 6 inches last time at night and in the morning, so far 34 and not much going on.

31 heavy snow, 3 inches so far. but just began sticking to roads.

I hope the pouring rain and occasional flake with a temp of 36 is not a sign of things to come later lol....

If the temps on Long Island can drop a bit we are going to get into it too. There are some intense bands in the ocean that are going to pivot over the Island.

Roger that jimv.These March storms are tailor made for the Hudson Valley with the colder air, better ratios and higher elevations.Still had 2 to 3 inches OTG from the last storm as this new one started.No snow at all yesterday on my way to my Moms in Fort Lee NJ soon as I got past Sloatsburg.

Reports of heavy snow in Branchburg, NJ. I am beginning to hear sleet mix into the rain in Cranford, NJ. The transition to snow is underway across most places.

Frank I’m pretty close to Branchburg and I can confirm a definite uptick in snow intensity here.

Yea Doc you are in a perfect spot for me being in a valley hurts the models put out 10 to 16 but i will most likely get half that. With this being March and temps not great people that are in lower elevations will have problems.

38 now and pouring but i can see a few flakes mixing in. Anyone ever look up at the clouds in this situation and can see the snow a few hundred feet up? well I just did and can actually see all that white gold!
