sroc4 wrote:NOBODY PANIC YET!!! From Coast to N&W. Let is play out. Our closed 500mb and 700mb lows havent even reached the coast yet. What we are seeing now are the Prosciutto and melon with raspberry drizzle, baked clams, and stuffed mushrooms followed shortly by the salad course. Sit back and enjoy some nice Vino or adult beverage of your choice while savoring the hors d'oeuvres and salad. For the main course will be served up this afternoon into this evening.
I’m drooling waiting for the main course. This may be epic for many

BTW where is weatherBob? He has been noticeably absent for this storm.
Yeah, I think he's going to clean up in this storm. His altitude is always good for extra inches.

You can't give up on a storm that may go past midnight at 10 AM or you'll never make it through the day.
Take your mind off the current and go to the weather stats thread, breath deep and read about the past. The Weather Stats thread is currently free but starting April 1 it will be $1 per month for subscription viewing. A bargain at any price.

Transitioning back to snow here about 30/70 snow to sleet. Flip flopping back and forth, but everything is coated with sleet including streets

Moderate to heavy wind blown snow. 29 with about 4.5 inches so far. Very nice to have snow and not have the sound of melting occurring in the gutters!

31° here. Starting to snow nicely. Had to run to Walmart and BJ's in Riverdale NJ Stores were empty. Bread on the shelves. No sign of panic. I was in full panic mode when I woke up to flurries.

you are hilarious!! and yes I am the first to admit to the stress and the excitement one feels on the roller coaster of models that we have before a storm...to day just relaxing and enjoying the view of it unfolding...(dinner in CP/homemade bread rising/cookies baked)...now time for a cup of tea, lap top, and a seat by the window!!

Re: March Madness! Spring Snowstorm Observations
Hello Weather nuts! I am around, not much to say with all this fine analysis. Will be checking in this afternoon with measurements. The 700 mb looks in a great position to emerge off the southern Delaware coast with the 500 mb just to its south. Can’t wait until late afternoon when the upper system approaches the coast and watch the banding move N and NW feverishly off the ocean.

Hard to find the thread in full panic mode. Before the Mad Taxman starts charging, here is the link. Please also find his link to a wonderful Tom Petty song.
