Snowing heavily in Nutley township with one inch. Everything snow covered. Temp down to 32*. Going to be a rough commute to work this morning.

Heavy snow, plows just made another pass.My wife on 3 hour delay.Guess they do not want to declare a snow day with 2 make up days scheduled in the books.

37* and light rain. Temp has fallen 3* in the past 25 min. Should start snowing in the next few minutes. Hope it hits esp hard for the unluckies who were skunked in March.

*update* Changed over to light snow...in April...at the Shore...after being 60+

**updated update** Now back to light rain and sleet...likely due to a lighter precip rate.

looks around 2" and that is including roads, pavement etc. Trees are pasted with snow.

28 degrees, plow just came through, moderate to heavy snow.

Haven't taken an official measurement yet but grass is completely covered so guessing 2.5-3.0 inches so far.

2.25” so far. 31.5 degrees. All surfaces covered. Heavy snow! Radar looks good!

Narrow 2” per hour band setting up from eastern PA border and looks to be moving right over rt 80 in Jersey. It looks to be building in strength moving due east. On this path it will move right over the city and Long Island in an hour or so. Whoever gets under it will get to 4-6” quickly.

As it stands now snowing at 1” per hour over northern third of Jersey, eastern Pa, southern CT and most of Long Island
