Wow, impressive snowfall, I thought maybe we 3" or so to stick, but it's 31.5° and I have 5" on my glass outdoor table and grass, about 4" on my walkway.

3.9 inches and moderate snow. Over 81 now for the season. Almost 50 inches since March 2 which is damn impressive.
0.8 in the last hour and I'm not in any heavy bands just doing okay with steady snow and 28-29 degree temps.
I agree with Syos someone under that heavy band may approach 8-10 inches.

yeah but that was still a let down lol and for how small a system this is it's impressive in comparison. It was 9 inches and only on cars grass etc. Currently coming down hard.CPcantmeasuresnow wrote:jmanley32 wrote:Wowee!! Re: APRIL 2nd 2018 SNOW!!! Model Discussions AND Observations
Looks close to warning level snow. Have to say I dont remember seeing snowfall like this in April before. There are a few snowfalls I hear talked about in the 2000s but for whatever reason I dont remember them. Most of the rest were before I was born or little to no acclumation. Im kind of blown away at what Im seeing.

My kids' school district is on a three-hour delay but if it keeps snowing like this to 10 and on, I don't see how they could open. A plow has not yet gone by here in East Bum____. The ode ... worked ...

Re: APRIL 2nd 2018 SNOW!!! Model Discussions AND Observations
Extreme eastern NJ and western LI currently in lighter snows until back end moves back in about 30 minutes. It will snow heavily again for three hours and then taper off about lunchtime. I expect another 2-3” in Jersey and western LI and 3-5” more eastern LI and CT

6.75 in, 5 in on pavement, pretty amazing!! This is more snow than I received from the last storm when I was in between bands the whole storm.
