March ends up 2.4 degrees below normal, and colder than our horrible February by 1.9 degrees.

For the third time in four years March is the snowiest month of the season in NYC.

Let's start April with more of the same.

46* and Partly Cloudy. Woke up to Spring Weather but a Winter Weather alert. I wonder how many people who don’t follow weather will think the winter weather alerts on their phones this morning are some sort of “AprilFools” joke?

33.5” snow in March with another 3-4” on the way. To add to 63.5” on the season. Bring it.

Tomorrow amorning once the snow stops I head up to Ulster County for the opening of freshwater trout season.

Happy Easter Buona Pasqua. Just picked up a nice Terra me Sue and St Joseph pastry. I just spent almost 45 minutes online at the bakery and I I told half of the people saying that it supposed to snow tomorrow and they looked at me if I am crazy lol

The record snowfall for April is 13.5 inches in NYC, with 5.5 already in the books this month is now the 9th snowiest April on record in NYC. I'd love to move up this list but I won't even dare to think of taking the top spot, YET!

Winds will pick up later when storms come through, guess they were cya with the early warning time...

Got my first gust here, at around 11:45, 19mph

Heavy rain showers/t’storms incoming.

Peak gust so far: 22MPH

Had a heavy shower (no thunder) come through right before 1 p.m. In and out quick. Now starting to get breezy here, but nothing too crazy with winds yet. We'll see if they pick up behind the front this afternoon.

Barely got rain with the frontal passage. Just breezy now, but waiting for it to pick up.

Wind has now kicked up here. 15-20 mph out of the west and strong gusts. Flags are whipping. Temps should start dropping as the wind now begins coming out of the NW in the next hour or so.

25 mph sustained here with gusts over 40 mph. House is rattling. And of course . . . It’s trash night. How does the wind always seem to arrive here when trash and recyclables are being put out? Lol

We had 30 mph steady with gusts up to 60 mph. Trees were really swaying. Actually was a bit scary at times

33* with a light snow shower. Given how close we came to a significant snowstorm this weekend these flurries are almost mocking in nature.
