38 degrees, blue frost advisory over my area and turned the boiler on first time this heating season.Trees rapidly changing in color here.A wonderful change from the cloudy, humid warm weather of the past season! Looks cool for the foreseeable future!

38.8° was my low overnight, nice looking week coming up after tomorrow, daytime highs in the 50's, maybe a 60° day...awesome!

Well the CMC has a first fantasy snow storm of this upcoming fall / winter season one to two feet of snow four areas north and west of New York City even get snow down to the coast for our viewing pleasure can someone post the map in the banter thread to maybe wake CP up and come out of hibernation

All kidding aside I really feel that we will see our first flakes for parts of our area before the end of the month that's how good the pattern is

That checks, Al, with what I've seen living in the Northern areas all my life.First flakes can be expected after October 15.Usually just flurries but there can be accumulating snows as well.

Euro ensembles are honking at a massive coastal around 26-29th time frame, some of them are better than a hurricane with sub 970mb and just off the coast, might actually have another halloween snowstorm, we will see.

that's strange because when I left work in Manhattan it was 62 degrees then when I get off the 5 train at Pelham Parkway the wind has picked up and we had a brief shower and when I got to my car I see my temperature was at 57 * .

holy crap gfs 10 days!!! What a wind storm that would be not go b much snow too close then right over us.
