41.0°
The consecutive days with snow OTG streak ends at 13 today. I'm hoping we start a new streak on Tuesday. It was a great December so far, today I could do without though.

The positive to take away is yesterday's storm, and from what I see on models, could be the trend of more coastal systems impacting our area. Time these things with cold air and boom...

Looking at temps steadily dropping during the day Wednesday into the teens. The lows Thursday morning will be single digits for many.
Wow. Coldest air of the season. A quick in and out should moderate during the day Thursday.

In addition to the cold could see some snow squalls as some of you noted.

25 currently with ice still firmly on the trees and power lines. Stand at 3.25" of snow for December. Exponentially better than last December's .25". I wonder if missing the early December goodies will cost average snowfall of 5.5" for me. It's been several years since I've had at least average December snowfall.

Re: December 2019 Observations & Discussion
The line between frozen precip and rain must have been right over northern Manhattan because there wasnt any ice in the central park area, but in the riverdale section of the bronx there was about 1/4 inch or so on the trees and bushes, was still there this morning too

A little squall just blew by. Kind of weak. Dropped a coating. Nothing like the one last year.
