Had some light frost on the car tops when I went out this morning if that counts. lol
Next week I think we may have a full-on freeze one or two mornings mid-to-late week.

First frost of the season and went down to 32.2. That's very late for where I'm at.
Snowfall depth in eastern Canada very little changes in the last 2 weeks since i posted it last. May have no impact on the early winter season except personally I'm expecting a slow start to the snowfall season especially close to the coast. But that's nothing too unusual. I do see this year (Jan/Feb) though being considerably better snowfall chances as the SE ridge probably won't flex as much due to ENSO state.

Earlier today, I did a hike to Gertrude’s Nose at Minnewaska State Park in the Catskills. I took a lot of pictures of the fall colors and can’t share them all, but here are some of them:

Math, beautiful photos! Peak colors here in the Lower Hudson Valley at 700 plus feet up.I know there is an Anthony's Nose mountain somewhere, but never heard of Gertrude's Nose.That name brings to mind a battleaxe Mother In law,LOL.

The 1st arctic cold shot of teh year comes in Monday and tehn reinforces with a 1033 HP that slides in - that's a stout HP and dont look now but remember I posted about about possible flakes for this time frame?? Well the models are hinting at it. May wake CP up from his slumber.

Janet, I’m on the LIE right now and the full foliage is so beautiful. I love this time of year and for once no rain on a Saturday what a perfect day. Please don’t say that I will take a cold Thanksgiving then a hot Thanksgiving lol enjoy your day and have fun.
