Yeah I did it that way, FYI there is a link to de-notify yourself in each email but that does not seem to work.

4:00 p.m. snowing pretty hard here in Syosset. ( I would guess an inch per hour) It has really picked up in intensity the last half an hour. As it's gotten a little closer to dark it looks like the grass and car top and my kids playground set is starting to turn slushy white. Looking at the radar we might be able to squeeze out an inch on colder surfaces in the next few hours.

haha mako, im not in yonkers wish I was bet its better than it is here. From what I can barely see out the window its still coming down, bit heavier than before with 300mph winds (jk) but does not look to be sticking am going to my car soon, will let you guys know if it has stick to my car. 31.9 BTW, seems to have stopped falling in temps like it was before.

Its accumulating and coming down hard in south bronx. Mainly to cars etc. I tried to post pic mObile but couldn't I will later.

Nice coating on grass, car tops and non paved surfaces at 32* - came off the hill in Saddle River and everything had a bout a 1/2-1" coating on non paved surfaces and slush on paved roads.

On my way to daughters holiday chorus choir concert at her elementary school. 31 degrees here in Syosset snowing lightly. PERFECT GORGEOUS SETTING. Everything but paved surfaces has a solid coating. JUST SAW NWS CHANGE FORECAST TO SNOW ENDING BY 8 TO 60% CHANCE OF SNOW ALL NIGHT. Gonna be real pretty and slippery in the morning for the commute.

I was wondering if that area to the north that's pummeling up north around Albany is going to make it this far south. It has been slowly progressing that way. Large gap in between wonder if it will fill in.

As soon as the sun set the snow started sticking to cars, trees and grassy surfaces. In a few isolated spots to the street too. It was really coming down hard with strong winds, look like a real snowstorm was going, too bad ground was a little too mild.

Dtone did it stop up in Bronx I'm in Harlem at school looks like it's still snowing. Nws mentioning next tues and wed. Says though not a lot of cold air but I'm hopeful that being things have always been colder than modelled that it won't be rain at the coast like they suggest.

went and looked at the beach today here on the coast after the storm and they took a beating not only was half the town of Point Pleasant Beach underwater yesterday the beaches are getting smaller and smaller
