FWIW - Back to 90% probability of snow for Saturday from 60% at noon from 90% at 6am, on TWC.

Re: Update #4: Final Call Snow Map
I NEED ADVICE!!!!
I usually drink 1 cold beer in front of the fire for every 2 inches of snow during a storm. (I love 2+ inch an hour rates) Based on the EURO run I'm between a six pack and a twelve pack. Any advice? Looking to save a few bucks here.

Re: Update #4: Final Call Snow Map
Something to take note: If you take the Euro run verbatim, unless this storm really hauls ass out of here, I believe the liquid totals might be underdone. NYC for example showed 1.25 qpf. With a 969 mb low cranking at the BM, expect to see higher amounts where the CCB band sets up. More in the order of 1.50+. With that in mind, those lucky areas could see lollipop amounts attaining HECS levels of 18+.

If this pans out, buy a keg and a tap.

I Just got back from work. The 12Z CMC shows a changeover to freezing rain late morning for NYC before changing back to snow late afternoon. What are your thoughts on that?

Re: Update #4: Final Call Snow Map
Right now, it appears that the CMC is a western outlier to all other guidance (except the NAM, but it's the NAM lol). The consensus seems to a BM track, which sets up for an I-95 special.

Re: Update #4: Final Call Snow Map
The snow may become wetter, but I think a changeover is looking less likely at this point.

Buy the 12 pack, so you'll have some home already for next week!
