Even in Israel they are getting a snow storm. Seems like the past few years they have been getting more snow in the middle east. And this is late in the season for them too.

I was going to make a snow map but when I plugged my laptop in to charge it the cord started sparking/smoking. May have to wait until later or just not make one this time.

Hey everybody, I just wanted to let you all know that I am going to put a case study together that will be focused on the development and maintenance of the infamous dry slot for this storm. I cannot give you any hard date as to when I will have it finished, thanks to a busy work schedule, but I will get it done. That way, hopefully anybody that doesn't understand why/how it happened can at least grasp a little bit of the concepts that make weather work, as well as provide a concrete learning experience for all of us, especially for those of who regularly forecast so we know what to watch out for next time. I hope that you are all enjoying the snow out there, and I'll check in tomorrow!!! Night all!!!

Mt Sinai Harbor Feb 22nd 2015: Entire harbor is frozen with snow over it. I used to work on one of the lobster boats in the back ground. Those were the days.

There's a reason why Met. winter ends March 1st. I'm in the low 40's already today and it feels like the warmest day since November. Sun angle this time of year is strong and begins to play a factor with any storms that come by

I would love a Godzilla. My biggest snowfall was no more that 8 inches. Just one good storm which makes all snow people happy on this board and then I will accept spring.

69* now, AC is cranking.

I think it's just the sun and the sun reflecting off the snowpack that's making it go so high. I don't have a shady spot to put the sensor under since I live in a top floor apartment with only a balcony.

I agree with you. Give us one more decent size snow storm for the whole area before the season comes to an end.

Two feet of snow and a couple of more -10 mornings would ease the pain. Hopefully there's one or two in our future.

I couldn't agree with you more. Just want a decent snow storm before the warmer weather gets here, which I'm not looking forward to.

I've seen those movies a gazillion times each and never get tired of them. But Braveheart has a special meaning to me .
Can you guess why ? Of course, because I'm Scottish. Wooooo Hooooo !
Another good one is Shawshank Redemption. GREAT movie. One of the best prison movies ever made.
A great western is Tombstone with Kurt Russell.

Kurt Russell did the best Elvis ever in his 1979 movie.

Just wondering weatherwise if there might be snowshowers with this cold front coming through.Big gradient in temps!
