the skies just opened up getting heavy rain right now with the Sun out

Sun out now, rain over!

Got no rain here, but went out, drove just about 2 miles south and its very wet you can tell it was pouring.

I had some really heavy rain for 15-20 minutes here about an hour ago.

Heading out to a hockey ga, ewith my son but agfter looking at todays morning runs we have as usuall a potpourri of weather:

GFS and CMC have a coastal that ala sandyish backs right into the Jersey Shore and has an onshore flow leading up to this keeping things to near normal temps wise

Euro has the coastal asd well but bring heat after the coastal passes

I say Thursday thorugh Sunday we need to watch for thispossibility.

Now off the deep freezer - I always feel like it is winter year round going into these hockey rinks

Will be interesting to see how this evolves this week, Euro has been over amplifying systems for a while now, all 3 globals do have a coastal develop- looks like a wet Fathers Day is a possibility at this point

I posted on this in the LR because I thought it was so, would this have any tropical charecteristics or be more of a hybrid type LP, or just a simple LP? What is making it retrograde like that, sandy was in the ocean first the last Euro it pushed offshore then came like due back to the coast.

The first couple of days this week we'll be under a NW flow which may try to keep temps down. Will probably still hit 80s though.



Look for some rain Thursday into early Friday. I'll wait until Tuesday to talk about the possible retrograding storm next week. Still early.

Today was awesome. Look for rain Thursday with showers and clouds lingering into the first half of Friday too. Sunshine with temps in the low to mid 80s this weekend. Enjoy!!

days upon days of triple digit heat for desert southwest and southern plains. while we enjoy comfortable weather in the north east. glad I don't live there

Gorgeous day again today. Wow so many Graduation parties perfect weather.
Now for the future, the up well g along the coast is impressive and with a s to se wind the next few days as progeny will keep temps lower especially with in 15-20 m8les of the coast and a very pleasant seas breeze will be felt.


Seeimg Mon Tues as mid 80's with 90 inland .

If we stay in this regime which it seems to be fir the next 10 days then we see a few days above normal a few rain chances and a few normal pleasant days like today. Not seeing heat in this late at run of models.

Gfs has a trop cyclone at its end slamming into New Orleans.
