I'm all in favor of adult beverages to ease the roller coaster. Haha!

Deep breaths. Deep breaths.
Not if we have an adult beverage handy as we track!
My wife's sentiments exactly, i need them for the model runs, she needs them to deal with me

The map above was done on purpose!!!! Frank took LI out of any accumulations and added a diamond shaded bullseye directly over him and his northern Jersey friends' houses!!

Pretty sure the GFS is the only model closing off H5 by 12z Tuesday. A mere 6 hour delay, in line with other models, would track the surface low off the coast and not hug the coast. I also do not recall the last time we had a true coastal hugger. I am definitely in the EURO camp at the moment.

Re: BLOG: Roidzilla Could Impact Area Tuesday March 14th
It doesn't happen very often. Normally we deal with 3 specific tracks- Great Lakes Cutter, benchmark, and OTS. The last storm I can remember to hug the coastline is the superstorm of 93. The storm cut right into Philadelphia. With that extreme western solution I still never flipped over to rain! That storm was so dynamic, I ended up with 11 inches of wind driven snow, followed by a *hit load of sleet.Frank_Wx wrote:Pretty sure the GFS is the only model closing off H5 by 12z Tuesday. Re: BLOG: Roidzilla Could Impact Area Tuesday March 14th
Is there any way one of the moderators on here could lock this thread or not post model runs for the rest of the day so that some of us can get work done? In my case I believe America's children are entitled to a better education than what they may currently be receiving. (don't worry it's my lunch period so I am only half kidding.....or maybe not )

If there's any negative turns please sugar coat it. I'm already at the point where anything less than a foot will cause a major depression.
