Damn straight. The March 1960 storm was 14.5 inches in the city, if they top that tomorrow. Oh happy Days.
Plus it would be the first one foot snowfall in spring in NYC.
Mikey (Eyore) he's a problem right now. He's been burned so many times this month he won't allow himself to get his hopes up. Without making this an OTI thing he needs your care.
I shoveled 17 inches of snow on March 1960 from the house on Fort Lee NJ so I can verify that.
Looks like I 84 is the cutoff up here for the heavy stuff.Hoping to get 8 inches out of this to clear 80 inches for the season, something I have never witnessed.Had 79 in Mahwah NJ for the 95-'96 winter.
Great to see J Man and Al, the Jersey Shore Crew and the LI crowd get blasted. What a great day tomorrow is going to be on the board here! May the models trend even better.
Right now, cloudy up here.

Syo it is awesome I am pumped, but also concerned about the weight on the snow. that much snow on trees and wires wont bode well at all. And this has nothing to do with wind, though there is some moderate winds expected to worsen it even more.
I know I’m going to get yelled at for this but I wouldn’t mind losing power. I’m prepared. I don’t want anyone hurt or any elderly suffering but part of me LOVES THE CHAOS when it snows because of all the unprepared mutants around me that can’t function. Here a pic of my current situation

Re: March Madness! Spring Snowstorm Observations
From the beginning the models have overestimated the confluence and I see no reason why It shouldn't continue. I think we may see some insane outputs by the models overnight.amugs wrote:brownie wrote:Sleeting in Parsippany now.
Holy that is much further North than modeled and predicted - VERY GOOD SIGN IMO!!

Re: March Madness! Spring Snowstorm Observations
Bourbon I have. Cigars I don’t. Wouldn’t mind one though. Hope you guys get to 80” for the season. That’s a great mark. If I get a foot I’m at 60” on the coastdocstox12 wrote:syosnow94 wrote:jmanley32 wrote:LOL, mike we will be blasted on this one! Careful before you go out there. Make sure there’s not a dude chewing tobacco on a balcony above that street light.jmanley32 wrote:Theres spits of something in the street light, not sure what it is but I have to run out in a bit and I will report.

I know jman...but late march(im thinking 8-14, not drastically different). Think urban heat gets Manhattan low
