1-4" left for a good portion of this board.

Got the delayed call=BOOOOM.
I can see many in Rockland, Orange, Morris, Sussex, and wWestern Passaic and Bergen counties having delays or closings.

I haven't measured since this afternoon but eyeballing around 7.

Was going to post about this. Sussex county is getting slammed right now. Anyone here able to post observations? The band you mention Jman should hold. I think it will swing thru the area. Already looks beastly on this radar.

Heaviest snow of the day up here in northern Westchester accompanied by gusty winds!

Heaviest snow of the day the last half hour.

Approaching 9.5 inches. Double digits seems a certainty now, a foot not out of the question.

light snow right now, last time I checked at 7:00 I had 10, hope to get a few more.

ha ha I just texted my sister she lives in Bryam...thats in Sussex county..I asked how much snow she has and I get " a lot"....
Snowing here too but we have a coating on cars and property, but not on the road

Manorville Long Island getting hammered now.

It has stopped for a while. Eyes say 10ish. Yep. Trees sagging from snow. 30 degrees. CP must have piped Black Sabbath down that groundhog’s hole to get her to peek out of that hole to get the snow in. Thanks, CP. Two-hr delay tomorrow. Snowed much more late afternoon. Yeah! I hope you all get more tonight

I live in Hopatcong in Sussex and I can confirm we have been getting heavy continuous snowfall for the past hour or so. Measuring over 10 inches now with about 3-4 of those occurring after many were writing this storm off lol. Mother Nature is awesome.

Albany airport is at 17.3" as of 8 PM.  And I am currently under yet another band of heavy snow:



Assuming it had at least 0.4" of snow after 8 PM, this will go in the top 20 in Albany's biggest snowstorms, and would be the biggest snowstorm for Albany since 2003.

I think you need to get to 20 inches to get in their top 5 December storms of all time.

Quite an accomplishment in your first meteorlogical winter month there.
