It sure is Heehaw. Mugsy has def remained steady as she goes with this one. Hi Res models coming into focus this wekend with this one. Lets see what sort of fine tuning we get. QPF is def going up.

Very interesting. I've always been under the belief the good winters include December. Sure you can have pattern flips, but it's usually after 1/2 meteorological winter is wasted.

Okay who ready for some snow showers Sunday?? Maybe a coating to .25"

34* and a beautiful sunset over the snow cover. Clear skies will aid in the temperature drop tonight and it is headed into the teens. One thing is for sure: Any snow that wasn't moved today, ain't moving tomorrow morning.

it's cold out there and that snow was frozen solid when my son went out after school at 12:30...currently 32*

Absolutely true, when there is a good snow cover and you see the Christmas lights, it brings that spirit up so nicely.As a kid, I would take a walk at night after a snow around Christmas just to see the lights and the snow.

Just the simple pleasure of contemplation after a snowfall a week before Christmas! I guess we snowaholics understand this better than anybody,LOL.
Same here, a winter wonderland with a cold week and snowpack to look forward to.Maybe some snow showers Sunday to freshen it up a bit.

GFS says HELLO for SUNDAY! EURO on it but has the temps at 34/35 on the costal plain.
Could be a fresh coating for us if GFS is correct say .....Coating up to an inch anyone??
