New Hope update: Eyeballing it, an inch and a half on the ground, flakes now down to more typical size--many as big as a quarter half an hour ago, 32*

Surface low has developed and will continue on its NE trajectory. Man, just last week we were tracking the secondary low from Roidzilla and determining if it will go north then west or northeast. This one is clear as day that it will head due northeast.

Here's a look at the surface temperatures. Many people are snowing where there surface temps are above freezing. And it's sticking too! That goes to show that marginal surface temps can be overcome by strong snow rates or much colder temps at other boundary layers.

700mb frontogenesis - where you typically see the best snowfall rates - is currently favored over EPA. However, look for heavy banding to develop along the coast and CNJ later today. You can see it already show up in extreme SNJ.

NAM shows heavy snow along coastal NJ later today. My guess is this will be your jackpot. Parts of the shore may never flip to snow, unfortunately. That is why my snow map shows less for them.

I think I'm in a great spot for this storm. Temp dropped to 29* last night. Heavy snow now instant stickage huge flaflakes 32*. Radar looks good.
