That severe t-storm warning with the tornado has been in the same spot for over an hour, reports of widespread 5-6 inches in 1 hour!!! And headed for NYC, this is gonna be bad, but that area does not seem to be moving at all but local wx and tewc are saying this will threaten NYC and southern Westchester.

Tornadoes, Life Threatening Flash Flooding, Power Outages. Buddy is
a State Trooper said their channel is exploding with calls etc.

Somehow the axis of tornados and heaviest rain found itself over our area.

bill whats flood and wind/tornado status over there? still doesnt seem to be progressing this way much but we are seeing lightning in distance in that direction. My wife has not heard from her friend in westfield NJ.

Lots of flooding issues. There is tornado damage in the area reported, but not right by me. Have a lot of lightning and thunder at the moment.

How exactly is this going to move through kind of wind up and head east? that main blob over NE NJ thats causing all the issues I cannot really tell when it is going.

mugs what about us over here in NYC and southern westchester? I hear the thunder too, is it gonna move in here too or are we go be spared the worst, my jobs garage will be innundated it has a hill and a really crummy drainage system.

Reports of 7-8" of rain from PA into western NJ right now.

This is a catastrophic event. I have to admit, I underestimated how bad this would be in this region.
