Quite some pictures! Yesterday, my wife said it poured torrentially at the Galleria mall near 84. 7 miles away, it drizzled here at home. No hail. Just thunder with some lightning but for an hour or so before the rain, it was really dark, like it was near sunset-that's how dark. My rain gauge had very little in it. Winds had picked up as if there was more coming but nothing more. Doc, I did see a video of people driving near 87 and 17 in Harriman. Sliding, pulling over, real bad stuff. South in the county was where it all happened.

Wet Snow and 38 degrees in Stillwater NJ at 1190 feet altitude, not sticking .

The storm on Sat was insane and I was driving tpo CT on 95 and I literally was riding with it, scott i think from the looks of the warning you posted must have crossed LIS and into CT with the winds. the area I passed on 95 near branford/guilford CT (lots of big trees down and a large metal framed covering garage were in the highway, the lightning was insane, tons of CTG and cross sky bolts. I eventually decided to pull over and let it pass me but I rode with it for a long while and the winds were intense. A tornado warning was in CT in NE, was it a confirmed tornado? Glad your okay, I honestly can say a bucket list of mine is to see a tornado in person but not close up, and those pics, damn thats some bad damage.

6 tornados confirmed for yesterday and one of theme was Brandford. I just heart on the 10 oclock news.

I still can’t believe our area from Long Island to Connecticut had eight tornadoes in one day . It’s November not June We should prepare for our upcoming winter not tornadoes . We all know climate change is happening but really get worse for us

Even in June 8 in such a small portion of the tristate is likely a all time record, let alone in Nov.

Not a snow event for us in the Tri State except the elevation areas on this one but teh follow up ones may kick us off as teh STJ and SPV look to dance then.

An EF-0 tornado has been confirmed in the Hampton Bays area of Suffolk County, NY from Saturday's event.

We've now confirmed a total of 9 tornadoes from the event; 6 occurring on Long Island, and 3 in Connecticut.

The blocking is gonna be real folks and the first two storms will be disruptive to the holiday travel timeframe from the looks of it.

Miller B style that will have more of an effect on NE and may get snows into the elevated regions of the Tri State - back end snows at end of storm into the coast possible but we know how that plays out.

Me too forecast was 30* hit 27.4* heavy frost again in some areas as I drove to work

Hit 32* for the low this morning. Son had to run out for the first time to start his car before school(just got license and school parking permit. Mom does not have to run out anymore in the mornings..mixed emotions today)

Got down to 27* and now at 30*. Brrrr. Heavy frost again.
