The dreaded "light glaze" in the WWA last night is coming to fruition here. It turned to sleet and rain here about an hour ago and we're sitting at 28 degrees. Radar still shows it snowing here, and WU says it's snowing here and will snow a few more hours, but it's not. Roads were salted so they are just slushy, but any surface that was shoveled this morning is now a turning to a nasty layer of ice.

about 2.75" in Andover NJ as of now, been all snow as far as i can tell. Tapering off now as the back edge of the precip on the radar comes through.

HRRR thinks it should fill back in for another inch or so, radar still has a big empty slot through eastern PA. Doesnt look like its filling back in.

23 degrees at 11:30 in the Am, total snow accumulation
Is 2 and 1/2 inches, light snow easy to shovel ! Great to hear the Jersey shore crew and city folks got snow !

Its really bad here in new rochelle, ny. Moderate freezing rain. Sidewalks and even some roadways are a ice skating rink. Had shuffle to store. Hoping by 5 or 6 its better when i leave.

27* has been drizzly rain for the past hour or so. Measured 1.5" of snow, but things are going to ice over and change back to snow this afternoon. The evening commute is going to be horrific. More to come as the temps start to crash as the trough moves east.

Definitely some icing issues in spots. Cleared the snow off my car this morning and by the time I came back outside it was covered in a glaze of ice. Be careful on the roads today.

Rain continues here, with the occasional change to rain/sleet Some ice build up on trees and powerlines but nothing crazy. Surfaces are very crusty/icy. Again, any surface that had snow cleared before the change is now a sheet of ice. I'm leaving the snow and slush in place on my driveway and sidewalks until precip stops.

26/26 Got a glaze of ZR on the 3" of snow. That should keep it around for at least 1 week. Now the 850's have gone below freezing so back to light snow. Maybe a little wrap around back building before it pulls away. 1/2" left? not sure.

This talk of a 'bust' here in NNJ may have been slightly premature. Hardest rates of the day right now, picked up an additional 2 inches since this morning. I actually attempted to go to work before turning around-- route 80 was surprisingly very sloppy. I guess the coldness plays a part in that.

Sitting at about 4 inches total, not too far removed from the general 3-6 called for up here by most models. I'm grateful for it!

From the looks of it on radar, we're pretty much done up here. The outer boroughs might get some of what the NJ shore is getting, but unless it backbuilds, we're looking at flurries at best.

The snow here changed to freezing rain in late mornng, and it’s been mostly freezing rain here all day. My driveway is a sheet of ice, despite putting out salt hours ago.

I really hate the ice. I’ll take 3 feet of snow over freezing rain/ice. Ugh.
