Meh soundings not really supportive of snow, the column is saturated, but there is a warm tongue between 1000-925mb in the NYC metro. Going to need that vort max and H7 omega to produce just enough to allow some minor accumulation on cold surfaces, other than that think the better accumulating snow is confined towards I-80 and like a 10 mile distance N and S of it.

0z CMC improved for Friday. Shows 2-4 inches for NYC with 6+ just north and west of NYC. Seems like every model shows a few inches for NYC with more to the north.

The cut off of 6+ and 3-4 is the south bronx/NYC border, I find it hard to believe it will be that sharp.

Frank has not wavered on 1-3 maybe isolated 4 inches, guess the models are off their rockers cause usually frank and the models agree at least close.

Only 1 run bumped up the totals, I'm not sold on those amounts yet as beautiful as those maps are... just too warm tomorrow

The return of any snow, and looks like sustained cold, after the Feb we had is an event on its own.
