Wish we had this weather for Memorial Day weekend. I can see it now. After three days of 90* and sunshine this week, I'll be at the shore next weekend with clouds and 65* temps.

sounds about right! I don't make plans for Memorial Day weekend anymore, weather usually fails to cooperate.

A below normal May is just about erased now.

At 1:08 PM, the temp reached 90 at Central Park NY. Third day of 90F+. Last May Heat wave, May 2-4th 2001. Earliest-Apr 16-18 2002.

Arrived in Stillwater Nj about 30 minutes ago , thermometer read 90 degrees, now down to 83 , little breeze coming with nice gusts, suppose to go down to 50 tonight, that's almost a 40 degree drop, bring on winter !

EPS and GEFS say trough returns with blocking over the top equals cooler and unsettled weather. Rain Monday? Again wed and Thurs and possibly Sun into Mon ish. This is what we want for late fall into wintwr set ups.

A gorgeous day today up to 71 degrees and not a cloud in the sky I hope it stays like this all summer long but warmer not 92 95 to 100 ever to have eighties and dry weather

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Unfortunately there is a threat for rain almost every day this weekend. Not exactly a washout, though Thursday looks pretty wet.

Friday and Saturday this week may be the best days. Friday morning may have rain or clouds, but it looks to clear by evening. Saturday looks dry and mostly sunny. Temps will be in the upper 70's, may try to hit low 80's along the shore. The rest of Memorial Weekend (Sunday and Monday), look unsettled at the moment but there is time for change. I think Sunday could turn out to be a decent day if High Pressure holds longer over the Northeast. Monday does not look good. I'll have an update to MDW mid-week.
