December 2020 Observations and Discussion

Definitely looks like some snow showers could move through from late morning to mid-afternoon tomorrow. Could even coat the ground in some spots, at least on colder surfaces.

NAM has good surface temps for teh snow showers to stick in teh NW NJ regions and colder surfaces in NNJ adn LHV

34* and Mostly Cloudy here. Radar indicates an area of steady light snow on my doorstep, moving from PA into NJ. Not sure how much is reaching the ground or if it will stay snow, but looks like I have a shot to see flakes in the next hour or so.

35* and snowing steady. Still light, but more than just flurries!

Approaching 1 inch of snow at 1579 feet altitude in Stillwater NJ,Hiking on the APPALACHIAN Trail !

Temp which was up to 35/36* earlier has dropped back to 32* in the snow.

Snow continuing here in Bloomingdale and sticking to ground and the frozen lake across from us.

Snowing pretty good at Monaghan station in Midtown nothing sticking of course but it does look nice

Radar showing rain, eyeballs showing snow!! Nice flaking and flurries down here at exit 80. Great call once again!!

Close to an inch for me and came down heavily for short periods. Sub freezing surface was nice to see.

The Snow is Slowing down but the nice dusting we got is therapeutic!

Areas in NW NJ reporting 1.25 of white gold!!

They just plowed the road in my Lake Community in Stillwater NJ at 1190 feet altitude! Winter is Finally here !
