why does wxbell rgem only go out to hr 48? By then only shows a few inches doesnt make sense.

RGEM only goes out to 48 hours. It's a short range model

then the snow map makes no sense at all at hr 48

May change to snow around 11pm. Still uncertainty there. But I am pretty certain about the heaviest of the snow. Then there could be another heavy band between 2-4pm

Of course this is all dependent on where the narrow band sets up and if this 2 part happens, seems still a bunch to iron out, so what do you think NYC area including me was on rgem?
