Yep. We should have no problem with at least +6 AN for January and I'm thinking +8 is within reach.

As much as I like the warm weather because it allows me to get out on my road bike I think it is time for so real winter weather and some snow. Hopefully we get a bit of a pattern change towards the end of the month and maybe February will be able to deliver the goods.

Nice little surprise this morning seeing a very faint dusting of snow on the cars

Temp is 34* with light snow! I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.

30* light coating on cars and flakes in the air!

“Heeeey, it snowed!” 9 yr old Violet just said. Lol. Literally a coating on the cars only…but we both enjoyed it. Ha ha.

Now light flurries too! Hooray for snow!

Had some flurries at 32* . It feels like winter in January for a brief moment.

Low of 33* and currently 35* with a few flurries...Please everyone keep a family from our town in your thoughts and prayers there was a tragic fire in the early morning yesterday(mother and young daughter very critical) and the dog a golden doodle is missing..got out and everyone has searched the neighborhood and woods..of course it was night like the other nights this week and mild..I hope the dog survived the night! So sad.

i am praying for mom and her daughter I hope they both make a speedy recovery and they find the dog it’s freezing tonight I feel so bad for the family

I am so sorry to say we are devastated as a community. The mother and little girl(6) passed away today within hours of each other.  Everyone has been out in shifts looking to bring the dog home to stave off another tragedy. The dog was sighted and ran into the woods. I hope she can survive another night. Tomorrow drones will be going up to help them search  and I think a person who helps tracks dogs has been called. This day is just such a sad one. Please keep praying for this family please.(if you want to move this to banter..please do so)

A great tragedy so close to home. I am sorry to hear about this. May they now rest in peace

Horrible, every families worst nightmare come true. Hopefully the mom and little girl make full recoveries, please post updates, will pray for them of course.

Please disregard just saw the update. Words are inadequate, tragedies like this are painful just to think about, I can’t even begin to imagine how the immediate family deals with this.

Mom prayers for the mom and daughter that they are in God's Kindgom now. So tragic and prayers for the community. We had a similar tragedy last June in our school and it was absolutely horrible.

Cold and windy and 26 right now. The average low for this date is 15 so only about 5 degrees above normal by morning.

Oh I am so so sorry to hear this.Praying for you and the community.May our Lord and Savior Jesus hold them both close to Him as they enter His eternal Kingdom.Praying they can find the doggie and find him/her a good home.

27 degrees, cloudy and windy.Howling winds woke me in the middle of the night.Winter like day to come even if the ground is green.

Oh mom I’m so sorry to hear this. We had a similar tragedy in our community a month or so ago. Fortunately all the humans got out but their six cats did not. Praying for their families and hoping the dog can be found.
