Mixing here - sleet, light snow flakes- in Piscataway(Central NJ). Light, glazed coat on top of cars. Temp: 34

Heavy snow. 32.8 it is accumulating on colder surfaces.

Lots of sleet in all directions. Will see soon enough if the NAMs were right with warm tongue issues. That SE PA precip is the main show. Honestly I think that’s in and out by barely much after midnight. If it can be mostly snow it’ll thump hard. But if it’s sleet, well…lol. Will see soon enough!

I happen to be in Long Branch in Monmouth County, exit 105 GSP, right on the beach too. The rain just turned over to sleet and snow. More sleet, but some flakes mixed in there.

Changing over here already, glad I kept my hopes down, hear all sleet, in fact looks like some rain already is mixing in too. Barely a coating on cars soaking wet roads.

The Nam didn’t have have precip starting yet.

Now the surface temp sucks no doubt, but whether or not we get much of anything 78 on north depends on where the mid-levels go which is driven by the ULL. Right now you can see the 850s bulge up. Want this energy to dive SE as much as possible.

Interesting thing is, the models showed the heaviest precip developing and filling in over the area after 10 p.m., so this is an early round -- assuming the precipitation development with the development of the secondary was correctly modeled.
