63 degrees and I have a t-shirt on beginning of February where the hell is winter I am sick and tired of cold to rain back to cold

44* and Sunny. Which is closer to normal than whatever you would call what we had the last two days. Still a bit warm for my liking. Maybe the fever will break middle of next week? We shall see.

The model is struggling with the MJO evolution at this time and teh tropical forcing taking place. WE also have NAO anti cyclonic evolution occurring in the NAO and Scandinavian region that its trying to sort through as well. Don't take OP LR as what will be. At face value it stinks but its the Goo F uS!! It wil change for the better once it figures out the PAC and Atlantic - if ever LOL!

Nice day more normal temps even though I was able to bbcue yesterday

Totally agree. I don't trust GFS Op beyond 72 hours anyway.

37 this morning at 6. Some light, misting rain. Jeez Louise the fog was bad last night. Snow cover has a day left before it starts showing ground. Can't even light the wood stove-it will get to 50 and I'll melt.

42* with off and on light rain. Had a line of heavy rain come through around 1:30 a.m. that was so heavy it woke me up. Looked at the radar and there were some impressive lines of storms coming through. I slept through the rest though. lol

My dog woke me up to go out so at 4:30 I notice how the wind howls. It is 20 degrees with wind blowing at about 29 and gusts of 40+. So while it may not be quite as cold as forecast, my toupee has blown south, all the way down past Doc and CP, and into Central Park. It, as my snow cover is now gone. Mad

Damian, even though I didn't drink last night I swore I saw a flying carpet whizz past my window!

20 degrees howling wind, clear.

Typical Tri State Area slop fest coming Tuesday-Wednesday here.NWS honking about possible warning levels of something white up here but only if THIS and only if THAT.We have all heard that song before,LOL.Maybe a 'coating" to an inch Sunday night.

Weather app has gone from 6-10 inches snow Tuesday ending as freezing rain to 4-6 inches now ending as freezing rain or drizzle.

The trends are not my friends this winter. I'm ignoring science though and going with ancient tradition. This winter ends bad, as in good for those of us that love snow. Take it to the bank.

Someone taking measurements in Central Park found my toupee and mailed it back, express. It's back on.

16 this morning. Wind was 10 mph. I see a Canadian high in our future that will bring us enough cold for precipitation to come around. A scant departure from the warmer/precip, colder/no precip cycle.

Squall lasted about 30 minutes and the sun popped back out. Temp dropped from 40* to 35* during the snow.

Looks like snow squall about to hit Ft Lee, almost at Teterboro airport! This from the balcony on the 24th floor ! Looks heavy from the bridge south . Looks like it won’t last long. Not so much north of the GWB !
